I’m Leanna—the wife, mom, chef, and baker behind Little SOUR  House.

This business started with something very personal: wanting to make better choices about the food we put on our table. As a mom, I began paying closer attention to ingredients, how food was made, and what I was serving my husband and son. I wanted food made with real ingredients, time, and care, food I could feel good about serving my family.

That journey led me to sourdough. The more I learned about traditional fermentation and making bread from scratch, the more I fell in love with the process. I realized that choosing a more thoughtful option didn’t mean giving up the foods we love. Bread could be wholesome, beautiful, and genuinely delicious.

That’s what Little SOUR House is about. Creating food that feels good to serve and even better to share—without having to choose between wholesome and delectable.

There’s one promise behind everything I make: I will never sell something I wouldn’t proudly serve to my own family. If it doesn’t meet the standard in my kitchen, it doesn’t belong in yours.

Little SOUR House is more than bread. It’s about slowing down, being intentional about what we eat, and bringing something made with care back to the table.
